A: That series utilizes a Category 1 top link system. This cylinder as well as the 9-7682-11 have the correct pin sizes.

My dealer suggests a 3 inch bore with an 8 inch stroke ram for a hydraulic top link for my category one 3-point hitch. As very few seem to be available, would a 2 inch bore work for most applications? I have a New Holland TC-29d.
A: The category 1 top link cylinders we carry are 2" bore. The 3" bore top link cylinders we carry have the correct pin dimensions for category 2. Sizing should be appropriate to the application.

A: Any valve that is within the operating parameters of your system concerning flow and pressure will work. If plumbing it into a power beyond setup, make sure that you have a return line from both the upstream valve and the downstream valve.

How do you adjust the length? How easy is that? I have to adjust the top link very frequently when grading.
A: This cylinder must be hooked to the equipment's hydraulic remotes to adjust the position using the onboard control lever.
