Can the outlet ports of these pumps be rotated relative to the inlet port?
A: Yes. Care must be taken to keep the displacement ring in the same orientation to preserve the pump rotation, but the end cover can be spun to re-orient the port.

Can the oil reservoir be located below the pump inlet? Does the pump need to be primed before use?
A: The manufacturer does state that the reservoir can be below the pump inlet, and in such a situation should be primed by filling through the outlet port. Ideally a flooded inlet situation is best, though.
