will adapting the inlet or outlet to a smaller size affect the pump operation?
A: A smaller size could be used on the inlet only if the pump was kept in a flooded inlet condition, and there was no evidence of cavitation observed on startup and operation. A smaller outlet could be used as long as no excessive pressure buildup was observed in the pump body due to the added restriction. The pump was designed with the best port sizes to handle the range of flows the pump is capable of across the speed range.

Hi, What size (HP) electric motor is needed for this pump? Thx.
A: At the full rated RPM and continuous pressure, this pump will require at least 34 HP electric. At lower speeds it will require less.
