I have a Mustang SPL-1000 skid steer that has a 24300LBK pump. What pump do you have that is egual to or better than mine?
A: Based on similar part numbers in manufacturer literature, your pump is in the .31-.40 cubic inch displacement range. We cannot find an exact match to compare shaft size/type or porting. We believe pump rotation to be CCW as facing the shaft, based on that number. You will have to make a determination of suitability from there.

To run this pump on a electric motor at 1800 rpm to produce 9.4 gpm what horsepower motor should i be using and what psi will the pump make at this rpm any info would be greatly appreciated
A: A general rule of thumb is 1 hp per gallon at 1500 PSI. So 10 HP would be needed if you are building 1500 PSI (controlled by your relief valve setting). Pressure is not dependent on the RPM you turn the pump.
If you wanted 2500 PSI it would take about 17 HP.
