What keyed shaft fits this bushing? And is there a 18.75 OD H-Bushing single groove pulley that has 4 holes to match the 4 holes in the 1.5 keyed H-Bushing or do the pulleys only come with the 2 bolt holes?
A: This hub is for 1.5" keyed shaft. H-bushings utilize a four-bolt pattern on a 2" circle. Two of the holes are threaded, and two are not. For mounting, the bolts pass through the un-threaded pair and screw into the threaded holes in the pulley to compress the bushing into the tapered bore. For removal, the same bolts are removed and then screwed into the threaded pair in the bushing until they butt against the pulley hub. Then they can be tightened progressively and equally, 'walking' the hub loose. The bolts used are 1/4"-20 thread; 3/4" long.

Please verify this H bushing will fit 1-BKH160, 15.75 single groove pulley. It looks like the bore on the pulley is 1.5" per a question someone else asked, making me concerned thd 1.5" shaft H bushing isnt a match. Thanks
A: The tapered bore on that pulley is designed for H-type bushings. At the large opening it measures 1.615" and at the small side it measures 1.570. The hub measures 1.625" o.d. at the pulley side of the flange, and 1.570" at the narrow end. The hub's bore material is .065" inches thick at nearest the flange, and .040" thick at the far narrow end. Because of the thin material, it uses a special shallow key (supplied with the hub) which measures .375" wide x .216" thick x 1.248" long.

I bought this hub, but lost the key. Can you tell me if I can buy one from SC, or tell me the size? I know its 3/8" width but not sure of the height.
A: We do not sell this key. The dimensions are special to fit the hub. They are: .375"x.217"x1.24".

I need a bushing with an 1 5/8 hole do they make 1.
A: Not in the H bushing series. A larger QD type bushing/pulley combination would be required.

What tourque do I use for the 1.5 keyed H-Bushing? Thanks Hasso
A: The industry standard for H-bushing screw torque is 95 in/lbs.
