Can this pump be used to power a 1975 case 446 garden tractor. The pump that is in it is going bad so we may use this one as a replacement. The engine that is going to runeed the pump is a 22hp predator engine.
A: Possibly, but the overall pressure would likely be limited to less than 1200 psi at full engine speed. Limited horsepower means less flow for higher pressures. Please contact our Technical Service department with more details to see what possibilities there are for another pump.

Pertaining to CW and CCW which end of the pump should I be looking at to determine which pump to buy as far as rotation ?
A: We always list pump rotation looking directly at the input shaft.

what size of motor do you need for this pump
A: The HP requirement is based on the flow rate and pressure you require. This pump will give approximately 1 GPM for every 200 RPM it is turned. A general rule of thumb is 1 HP is required for every 1 GPM at 1500 PSI. At 2000 RPM and 2000 PSI this pump would require about about 13 HP.
