Would this pump be able to operate the 9-12315-250-4-P motor adequately if it was turning at 2,100 RPM?

A: It may, depending on the performance requirements you require from the motor.

If this has a 5/32 keyway what couplings are required to attatch to motor since none are listed with that size. They are all 3/16 for 5/8 shaft size.

how do you tell the rotation of the pump is it looking at the shaft end

A: That is how we define it, yes; as facing the shaft.

Will this pump handle a side load?

A: This pump is designed to be direct driven only. You should use a jackshaft or overhung load adapter if it will be belt driven.

Hello, does the GP-F20 series gear pump have a minimum operating speed? Could I pump a viscous material (think honey) with it? If so, could I run it at 1750 RPM or would it be better to gear it down 1:5 so I'd be below 400 RPM? Thanks! Nick

A: No there is not really a minimum speed. The faster you go the more fluid moved and the more input power required. The housing is aluminum so whatever you are pumping must be clean to prevent damage.
