I WANT TO PUT YHIS PUMP IN YHE SAME LINE AS THE ENGINE MECHANICAL PUMP AND NOT HAVE IT RUN ALL THE TIME . WILL FUEL PASS THROUGH IT WHEN IT IS TURNED OFF?
A: Low pressure air (1 psi) passes freely from the inlet to the outlet when the pump is not powered. It is very likely that fuel would pass through if not in use.

Does it automatically shut off when it comes up to pressure and come back on when pressure lowers?
A: No, it does not. This operates as long as it is powered.

Do you know if this pump could move chainbar oil? In ambient temperature, not hot. Thank you
A: We have no data or manufacturer statement to confirm that it could safely do that, no.

Can this pump be used to move hot oil?
A: It is unlikely. The instructions say to mount in an area that won't exceed 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Running hot oil through it would quite possibly kill it.

does the mounting position matter I would mount upside down for my application
A: The manufacturer recommended mounting is at a 45 degree angle (flow path upward) on a vertical surface. Completely vertical and completely horizontal are shown as options, (flow upward and sideways, respectively). Inverted mounting with flow path downward may lead to incorrect operation.
