I think I'm looking for a product like 9-7987 except with only one solenoid, everything else being the same. I am adding a 3rd circuit to front loader and would expect to use loader control for retract or extend and just hit the solenoid switch while using loader control to control flow direction. Am I incorrect in my thinking? thank you
A: It sounds like you're talking about a prioritized double selector valve. Please look at item 9-8602 or item 9-5117-A.

Can 2 or more of the (item number: 9-7987) valves be series together? IE: example: 3 valves (v1=valve 1, v2=valve 2, v3=valve 3 and p=port ) configured such that v1p3 connects to pump, v1-p2&p4 to DA cylinder#1, v1p1 to v2p3, v2-p2&p4 to DA cylinder#2, v2p1 to v3p3, v3-p2&p4 to DA cylinder#3, and v3p1 to tank
A: Yes, they can be run in the series you describe. As long as none of the outlet ports (port 1) are used as main inlets from the pump, it will work fine.
