Description
50:50 ROTARY FLOW DIVIDER
Brand new, MTE 200 series model P207R-5466. Hydraulic gear type rotary flow dividers. Accurately divide flow from one source into two or more equal proportionate flows. Relief valves do not limit system pressure, they only limit differential pressure from outlets to inlet.

I have 2 hydraulic cylinders fed by 1 tractor hydraulic valve. The cylinders must move in tandem to prevent tearing things apart. will this rotary flow divider work? If not, do you have anything that will?

A: Rotary gear dividers will keep two cylinders moving at the same rate and are the best solution when synchronization is critical. The only time the synchronization can get off is if the cylinders are moved slightly in the middle of their stroke repeatedly, but can be reset by moving the cylinder to the end of their stroke in either direction.

Can this be used to send one flow (50%) back to reservoir at zero psi and still get 2000 on the other side? Trying to cut a tractors flow in half for the chipper feed rolls. Currently tractor is overheating and is too much flow for chipper. Chipper is P T O driven and rolls hydraulic

A: No. The maximum differential pressure between the flows cannot exceed 750 psi. That application may be better served by 9-1048-B. That item will split the flow 50/50 regardless of flow and load variations.
