1/2 NPT HYD RELIEF VALVE Brand new, PRINCE model RV-4L inline relief valve. Differential poppet design provides smooth and quiet performance with a minimum variation between cracking and full pressure.
Can the tank port be used to supply oil to a second circuit once the inlet port pressure goes above the relief setting?
A: That would not be advisable. Pushing fluid continually across the relief will add a large amount of heat to the system, and seriously affect the lifespan of the valve.

Similar to the other question on this product. I have a snow plow I'm adapting to my Bobcat (3000psi at the hyd. couplers). The plow uses one double acting cylinder that I'd like to limit to say 1200 psi. Would this valve keep the cylinder from seeing anything above 1200 (or whatever I set the relief to) going either direction (angling the plow left or right)? Thank you.
A: If it is a double-acting cylinder, and you want to protect both sides from the system's pressure and possible shock load spikes, look at item 9-4019-50-L. That may be a better option.

Similar to the other person's question. I have a snowplow that has 1 double acting cylinder for angling the plow that I'd like to limit to 750 psi or so. My Bobcat has 3000 psi at the couplers. Would this work to keep the angling cylinder from seeing the higher pressure?
A: This would only relieve the pressure on one line. To protect both sides of a double acting cylinder, use 9-4019-50-L.
