Will this replace the Sunny 4port switch with the only number in the case is E211960?

A: Various other forums across the internet relate this part number and model with that particular number, so it appears to be the same, yes.

I'm running a Leeson, 5HP, single phase, cap start motor on my compressor. Plate shows 24A start and 21A run. Would this switch be sufficient or would I be pushing it too much? Do you have another switch with a little higher current rating? I couldn't find one.. Thanks in advance.

A: It will have a shortened lifespan due to the contact arcing on make and break. At that current draw it's best to use a contactor rated for the make surge current and switch it with the pressure switch.

Just what do the two adjustment screws do and to what extents?

A: The centralized screw adjust the cut-in/out pressure range while keeping the set differential. The offset screw adjusts the differential range. The minimum cut in is 40 psi, the maximum cut off is 150. The differential is adjustable from for a 30-40 psi range between cut in/out.

Will this work on a 6.5hp motor?

A: No, this will only handle 25 amps. Typically anything over a true 5 HP draw (22-25 amps at 230VAC) uses a starting contactor for the motor. If this is only handling the current for the contactor coil, it would work.

Will this work on a 6.5hp motor?

A: This is not rated for the current a 6.5 Hp electric motor would pull. If a contactor were operated with it instead of passing the full motor current through it, then it would be more feasible.

Hi: 1. Why is the amp rating @ 25 amps regardless of the voltage on this switch? Doesn't make sense. 2. Can the On/Off pressure settings be set/adjusted on this switch?

A: The manufacturer's specs list 25 amp capacity at 115 or 230 VAC, as well as 3 phase and DC power. There are screws o the inside to adjust the spring preload that would change the pressure setting.
