This cylinder has a wire-lock retention on the gland. There is a square wire that can be rotated into position and extracted from the small recess in the tube near the rod. Once the wire has been extracted the gland should pull free. Ok I found the recess in the tube & I see a square lock that's keeping the end from unscrewing but how do you get it out. I am not sure what you mean wire.

A: Please contact our Product Support Department for the correct method of extracting a wire-lock.

How does this cyl come apart? Thanks
