2.5" x 8" x 1.5" DOUBLE ROD CYLINDER Brand new double rod, steering type hydraulic cylinder. Both rod ends are drilled and tapped to accept a standard 3/4"-16 tie rod end. A pair of 1" thick steel mounting blocks are welded to cylinder body.

can you supply a ball joint to screw into end of ram or know where one can be purchased ,all I can find are metric thread
A: Our items 13-CMR-12 and 13-AMR-12S will fit, but may not hold up to the forces generated. Search for '3/4-16 ball joint' on the internet and many other vendors are selling various products with varying strengths.

Do these have a poppet valve in the piston? Or have a way to allow oil flow to bleed any air?
A: They do not. Typically any air in the system is cycled back into the reservoir after actuation and bled off through the breather.

Do you offer the mounting blocks for this cylinder? Or will I need to have a set made with the correct mounting dimensions?
A: No optional mounting blocks are available.

Are the 3/4-16 threads for the tierod ends both right hand thread, or is one right hand and the other left hand thread?
A: They are both right hand thread.

How is the stroke measured on this type of cylinder?
A: The 8" stroke is the travel from extreme left to extreme right.
