Take-offs, old inventory. Military surplus bomb hoist gearmotor, NSN# 1730-203-8712. Furnished with manual operation handle and snatch block with sprocket.
Item is old military surplus and will have scratched paint and some corrosion and dents. See the photos for a representation of the items. A wiring diagram is not available for this item. Item is sold as is.

A: Most of the outer case is aluminum, the gear box, bolts, motor are all steel.

I'm just wondering if there is any chain included with this hoist and if so what the length is?
A: No chain is included with this hoist. It is made to work with 100 pitch standard roller chain.

Has anyone figured out the wiring for this yet?
A: We have not been provided with any detail on the wiring by customers, nor have we found any diagrams.

THe motor has (5) pin connector- how you wire the motor?
A: A wiring diagram is not available for this item.

The speed states 8000 rpm, is that the motor rpm? If so, what's the final output rpm on the chain end?
A: The motor speed is stated as 8000 rpm. We have not disassembled one to calculate the gear ratios. It appears that it has at least three stages of reduction to the final, but we do not know what the final drive rpm is.

1. Will this run on 24V ? 2. What size chain does it use?
A: Yes, it will run fine on 24 Volt DC power. It is 100 pitch chain.

Another one: Please tell me how your standard warranty policy will work on this "as is" item. If it doesn't work, you will replace it, correct? Who pays for freight (4/5 the item cost)?
A: This would have our standard 90 day Surplus Center warranty.

It looks like this hoist uses chain instead of cable. Can someone please tell me the chain number/size?
