New, Icon Health and Fitness model# F-174504 permanent magnet motor with brushes. Built for use in treadmills, ideal for use with speed controller. Would also make an excellent DC generator. Rated for 1 HP (746W) treadmill duty or 0.75 HP (560W) continuous duty. Internal, normally closed bimetallic switch signals thermal overload.

Requires external source of air-flow over motor for prolonged use. Pivot mount measures 4-1/8" long overall with 3-7/8" between flanges. Bracket has two 3/8" holes. Motor is reversible. Left hand threaded end of shaft requires clockwise rotation.
