New, Icon Health and Fitness model# F-295727 permanent magnet motor with brushes. Built for use in treadmills, ideal for use with speed controller (sold separately). Would also make an excellent DC generator. Rated for 2.75 HP treadmill duty or 2 HP (1492 W) continuous duty. Internal, normally closed bimetallic thermal protection.

Requires external cooling source for prolonged use. Motor is reversible. Left hand threaded end requires clockwise rotation.
