2 HP TREADMILL MOTOR New, Icon Health and Fitness model# M-208012 permanent magnet motor with brushes. Built for use in treadmills, ideal for use with speed controller. Would also make an excellent DC generator. Internal, normally closed bimetallic switch signals thermal overload. Two 7mm holes in motor housing for self-tapping screws.
Motor housing diameter measures 115mm (4.527"). Removable, heavy (3.90 lb.) steel flywheel threaded onto motor shaft measures 162mm (6.378") dia. x 20mm thick. Flywheel has 1.10" O.D. ten-groove pulley for serpentine belt. Requires external source of air-flow over motor for prolonged use.

will this motor work with the DC MOTOR CONTROLLER FOR PERMANENT MAG OR SHUNT item number: 11-2102 if so do i have to buy a resistor and fuse and if so which ones? email@example.com
A: No. The rating for 11-2102 maxes out at 1 HP with 115 VAC input and 90-130 VDC output, with heatsink installed. Operating it at 220 VAC input and 180 VDC output and heatsink installed would overspeed and destroy the motor.
