3.8 HP TREADMILL MOTOR
New, Icon Health and Fitness model# F-295737 permanent magnet motor with brushes. Built for use in treadmills, ideal for use with speed controller (sold separately). Would also make an excellent DC generator. Rated for 3.8 HP treadmill duty or 3.8 HP (2835 W) continuous duty. Internal, normally closed bimetallic switch signals thermal overload. Two 5/16"-18 threaded holes in motor housing for self-tapping screws.

Motor housing diameter measures 115mm (4.527"). Removable, heavy (7.9 lb.) steel flywheel mounted onto motor shaft by means of keyway and retention screw. Flywheel measures 172mm (6.772") dia. x 36mm thick. Flywheel has 1-1/2" O.D. ten-groove pulley for serpentine belt.
