A: The motor does not stall at the end of the stroke. The non-adjustable limit switches turn the motor off at the end of the stroke.

can this product be used in a greenhouse environment?

Could I adapt this to open and close the shutter an the bottom of a tow behind fertilizer spreader? It would be just a simple open and close because I can't reach the handle while setting on my mower
A: That should be possible as long as it has enough force to operate the shutter.

the blue and black wires go to the motor. This leaves the yellow, white and red wires are for the potentiometer, Can you tell me which one of those is for the sweeper of the pot?
A: From the connector on the wire:
Blue: Positive to extend-Negative to retract
Yellow: Negative to extend-Positive to retract
Red: Higher resistance on retract
White: Common to potentiometer
Black: Higher resistance on extend
