What would the duty cycle be for this actuator ?

A: While we have no information regarding the duty cycle, when the original application of elevation adjustment for a large solar array is considered it can be most likely classified as intermittent. This was probably never intended to do a full stroke at one time, but we cannot say with any certainty.

Does this actuator include a limit switch, if not do you have ones that will work in it?

A: It does not come with any limit switching. We don't have any switches that work as a limit switch for this item.

Is this unit water resistant or water proof and what kind of electrical connector does it have ,also the unit is on a truck in the weather year round.

A: This item was originally used in a large solar panel positioning system, and was designed to be exposed to the elements.

Is this suitable for use in compression, or only in tension? What are the ratings for those loads, if available?

A: Push and pull should be the same. We have that rated at 5620 lbs.

Are you able to let me know what the current draw of the motor is? It would be great if we could get the draw at both no load and full load. Thanks,

A: The current is rated 12 amps, this would be under load.
