I read your answer to the previous question. HOWEVER, I read that it is better to heat the oil pan, which will heat the oil and the heat will waff up to the engine from the inside. Does your reference have any comment on this please??

Will the magnetic heater go underneath the oil pan of a farm tractor and if it can how long does it take to warm up if the temp. is 0 degrees. The item numbers is 11-3396 or 113397. Which one would you recommend if the heaters will work. Thanks th
A: The 11-3397 would be preferable for use on a tractor engine. It's larger surface will warm faster. Reaches temperatures of 300-400F. No estimate of time is available.
