I am adding 2 valves to my tractor. Both are going to operate double acting cylinders. One is for a grapple on the loader and for now the other will be for rear equipment. It could possibly be used side by side on the loader someday. My question is should I use a D03 Series or a Parallel subplate? I’m using it on a Kubota B2650 in staid of buying Kubota’s 3ed function kit. Thank you, Larry
A: If the manufacturer data is correct and that equipment uses an Open Center type hydraulic system, you will need to use the Series type subplate. Check with your dealer to confirm the system type.

Can I add a relief to this subplate?
A: A relief block could be sandwiched between the subplate and the valve body, the subplate is not machined for a relief cartridge.

I already have 2 of these subplates 2 Station DO3 Series OC Subplate ITEM NUMBER: 9-5883-2 Can I connect these 2 sub plates together so i can have 4 solenoid valves working off one hyd feed line. Example Feed from pump going IN then OUT the first subplate then directly IN and OUT the second subplate then back to tank. Thanks
A: There is no power beyond conversion for these, but it should be possible to connect outlet to inlet in this case and string blocks together. Because these are for series applications, the pressure across all the spools will be distributed evenly, so using multiple functions at once will lower the usable pressure for all functions.

Can this valve base be used in a power beyond application?
A: If this is the final valve in a system and the upstream valve is power beyond, yes. It is not designed to be the upstream valve and is not ported for power beyond operation.
