HYDRAULIC PUMP/MOTOR Brand new PARKER model MGG20010-BA1B3. Use as hydraulic pump or motor for agricultural, commercial applications. Geroter design with heavy duty bearings, aluminum case, reversible, Buna-N seals.(click here to see the same pump with rear ports)
Is it suitable to work with tap water as the power fluid in case of using it as a motor ?
A: No. The minimum recommended viscosity of an operating fluid for this series is 60 SUS, and the ideal viscosity of the operating fluid is 150 SUS. Water has a viscosity less than half of the minimum.

I am looking for a hydraulic motor that can turn at least 5000 rms. Also need a pump to turn it. I was told hydraulic pumps and motors make lots of bubbles then the motor and pump do not work well cuz they begin to try and push the bubbles then the air in the bubbles cause then to not operate as they should. But i think with a large enough reservoir and a few screens like that in a window as fluid makes its way back thr- the system and when the pump picks up the fluid from reservoir all with bee ok. Gt any ideas?? Looking to build a full size quad copter that fly's 4 people. Will have 4 pumps one on each corner. Need your advise on what to buy. Thanks
A: As a retailer, we can offer no advice towards that end. Please consult an engineer.

Will this motor operate using 3/8" hydraulic hoses?I want to make a tree limb saw for my front end loader using a 12" blade. Pump is 16.8 gym and 2750 psi, will this work.
A: No. That input would destroy this motor. Both flow and pressure would need to regulated down to the continuous ratings of the motor, and even then the motor may be physically too small for that application.

Can this motor operate using 3/8 hoses for pressure and return
A: Yes, this motor will operate with hoses that are 3/8" i.d., as long as the correct fittings are used to connect to the motor.
