Which directional control valve would you recommend for this AC power unit?
A: Any of the lower flow rated open center valves could potentially work on this unit. All of them are rated for higher pressures than this unit is capable of in the current configuration, as well as handling higher flow rates.

What would be the GPM at 1,000 PSI?
A: This is a 115/230 VAC motor and would not pull down hardly at all at the rated pressure, so very close to the 2.39 gpm across the board.

What unit would you recommend to run a 22 ton log splitter
A: If the log splitter you are referring to has the previously mentioned 4.5" bore cylinder, you would only get 19.8 tons of force out of it with any power unit with a relief setting of 2500 psi max. All of the continuous rated 115/230 VAC power units that are rated for 1.3 gpm will make that cylinder move at 3.17 in/sec on extend at full load. They may move slightly faster under less load, but the difference will be negligible. Any of the previously mentioned power units will move at a snail's pace compared to a gas engine/two-stage pump combo. All would be functional, none are recommended if you have any kind of time constraints.

Will this run a 22 ton log splitter. The log splitter was on my lid tractor.
A: The pressure settings seem very low for any kind of log splitter, as well as a limited run time. It does not seem like the best choice for that application.

Can I get this unit with a 120 v. dual coil directional valve?
A: No. This is a surplus item and we have no variants of it. Our item 9-7138 meets those characteristics as closely as possible.

Hello, What else is needed to make this functional as a power pack, besides hoses and some type of control? Can I use something like a two way log splitter valve or an electronic foot switch? Also, if this dual acting? Also, do you think it would be possible to get above 1300 PSI with new relief? Thanks
A: The type of directional control valve will determine single or double acting. It may be possible to get a new relief to increase the pressure, but we do not have a good vendor for such.

can you run a two spool valve on this unit. thanks
