WILL THIS PUMP WORK WITH A PULLEY

A: Made for direct drive, no shaft side-loading (no pulley driving)

Can I run this pump counterclockwise? What would happen if I did?

A: No, this pump cannot be reversed, or driven in reverse. If driven in reverse to what it is designed for the shaft seal will blow out and the pump will no longer work.

How much HP input needs this pump?

A: At the continuous rated flow and pressure, this pump would require approximately 9 HP.

Will a 5 or 6 HP engine run this, and also when it says CW rotation, is this looking from the shaft end, or opposite side, so if I were using a normal small engine, it would run in the correct rotation? Thank you

A: The rotation is facing the shaft. It is designed to be direct coupled to a small engine. This may be too much oil flow for that small of engine. A general rule is 1 HP per gallon at 1500 PSI.
