8 HP GAS ENGINE TO SAE A PUMP MOUNT Brand new, Hydra-Mount model G16-134-5.625 aluminum alloy pump mount for connecting gas engines with 6-1/2" bolt circle and 5-3/4" pilot to hydraulic pumps with SAE A flange (2 holes 4-3/16" c/c and 3-1/4" pilot) Two access openings with safety covers.
These dimensions match my hydraulic pump and gas motor but it states 8-16hp. My gas motor is 22hp, do you have a mount rated for more hp or will this mount be okay?
A: Other customers have used this mount with engines in that range and have had good results.

I have a 16 hp gasoline engine which has both a 6.5 & 5 in bolt circle and a 3&11/2" long engine shaft. I have hydraulic gear pump with an SAE A 2bolt mount (3&1/4 inch pilot and 4&1/16 bolt circle) with a 1&7/16 shaft length. This means that the overall length of the bracket should be 3.5 plus 1.5 inches or 5 in overall length. Do you offer a bracket that meets these requirements?
A: Historically the combination which has worked with a larger frame gas engine and pumps with the SAE A mount, when both items have a standard length shaft (1-1/4" for our SAE A pumps; 3-5/8" for our larger frame engines), is this pump mount. Our item 1-3241 has a face to face length of 5-1/8" but when assembled with item with the dimensions you state the shafts contact before the pilot of the pump can seat into the mount. There will be a slight gap between the shafts with 1-3712-5.63, which can be bridged by using an L-100 coupler on the engine, and and L-099 coupler on the pump. Be aware that many of the SAE A pumps use a 5/32" keyway as opposed to the standard 3/16"; and order the pump coupler accordingly (i.e. 1-3616-G-156).
