In the data sheet it mention that if during operation the CF port is blocked the valve will compensate to shut off the flow to the EF port. Does this mean that all the flow will go to the EF port, or that the flow will shut off completely? Sorry I do not understand what the manual means :(
A: It states that if in operation the CF flow is blocked, the compensator will adjust to attempt to overcome the resistance which can lead to a situation where no flow is moving out the EF port. This can lead to pressure spikes upstream if proper relief valving is not available. If the system is dependent on flow from the EF port at all times, this must be accounted for as a possibility in the design stage.
