3/4 NPT HYD RELIEF VALVE
Brand new, PRINCE model RV-2H inline relief valve. Differential poppet design provides smooth and quiet performance with a minimum variation between cracking and full pressure.

will this relief valve work with pump pto-a-5-6-s?

A: Yes, it will.

Will this valve work on converting a PTO brushhog over to hydraulic drive for the spin down on the blades when the hydraulic is turned off? It will be hooked to a Catapiller 242B3 Skidsteer.

A: Better choices would items 9-8745, or 9-4019-50-H. The relief passage on this valve was designed to go back to tank.

Will this work for a single-acting cylinder--In other words, will this valve allow oil to flow both directions?

A: Yes. The pressure pathway is not direction specific.

What are the specs on the mounting holes - dia and spacing?

A: The mounting holes are .28" diameter at 2.5" center spacing.

A: No, these valves are intended for use with oil. I have not seen one work correctly with air.
