SAE 12 30 GPM HYDRAULIC MOTOR RELIEF BYPASS VALVE Brand new, FLUIDTECH four port inline crossover relief and bypass check valve. Provides overload
and shut off protection for motor wind down when used with hydraulic control valves that have blocked work ports in neutral. For non reversible
applications only. Ideal for use with skid steer loader or tractor valve outlets for operating remote hydraulic motor for overload and shut off protection.
Two mounting holes for 3/8" bolts.
Can an electric on/off valve be added to this to start and stop a motor?
A: An electric hydraulic control valve can be used to control the circuit. If the control valve used is a motor spool valve, you would not require this device.

Do you need to plumb a t to loop the hydraulics back around or is it all built into this product? Meaning you just hook up one side to the motor and one side to the control lines and it will allow the motor to spin down on its own?
A: That is the intended function of this valve, and what it was designed to allow. No loop using tee fittings should be necessary.

I am powering a brush hog with a hydraulic motor on my skid steer. Am I correct in thinking this item will both cushion the inlet pressure from surges similar to item number 9-4019-75-H AND allow the motor to spin down freely when hydraulic flow from the skid steer is shut off? I am planning to use 26 gpm at 3000 psi so I would open this valve up to its max setting. Thanks.
A: That application is the designed purpose of this valve. It does not have a relief on the low pressure side; as it was made for non-reversible use only, but your other descriptions of it's action are correct.

When are these expected to be received?
A: Our shipment is due August 7.

Will this valve serve as a pressure limit valve as well? I have a hydraulic motor with a 2700 psi maximum that has been destroyed by transient surges of pressure. I would like to have a 2500 psi valve that would keep that pressure to the motor and send the excess back to the reservoir. Flow is 20 gpm. Please advise.
A: This valve will do that within the single direction of operation it was designed for. It will not work with a reversible application. If the application is reversible item 9-4019-75-H may be an option, but would need set to the appropriate pressure. As with any relief valve, the speed of the pressure wave can sometimes be faster than the valve can open and shock/surge damage can still occur.

If you can not sell us this product at this time, can you give us the same combination of valves separately to do the same thing?
A: Items 9-4019-50-H and 9-7933-8-5 could be plumbed into the system in such a fashion as to provide both pressure protection and a coast-to-stop loop.

Whats the projected arrival date for these valves?
A: We have one shipment that is overdue (5/26) and another projected for 7/31. We are following up with the vendor regarding the overdue shipment.

When will you have more?
A: We have two orders in for this product, the first being projected to arrive May 27.

I noticed you are sold out of these valves till may 27, is there any other valve that is similar to this one that serves the same purpose?
A: Unfortunately, this is the only valve that will function like this that we carry. One could install a double relief valve and a check valve in the lines to afford the same protections to a motor, but would require some additional plumbing.

What is the cracking pressure of the bypass check valve in this valve?
A: This is a poppet type relief, which the manufacturer states as cracking at the set pressure when a flow of 2 gpm is present, and re-seating at 90% of the cracking pressure.

will this work with a 3pt bush hog you are changing to skidsteer hyd? so that the blade will free wheel when hyd are off
A: That was the type of application this item was designed for, yes.
