I understand this product is not a pressure detent. Do you sell one like this but with the pressure detent? What part number is that from the manufactuer?
A: Due to the internal plumbing of the valve body and the necessity of a pressure-release cartridge, there is no way to add a pressure-release detent to an existing valve that did not come set up for it.

Am I correct in saying that with this detent kit added, I can lock in my bucket to both unload and curl without applying pressure? Does it unlock on its own after the cycle or do I have to apply the pressure to unlock it?
A: When locked into detent, it would extend or retract a cylinder to the physical limit and continue to power it after that point, causing the system flow to go over the relief valve. This is not a pressure release detent and will not kick out. It would have to be released manually. Because of the nature of the detent mechanism and it's replacement of the spring centering kit, fine 'feathering' capability of the spool to which it is installed will be lost.

Will this detent kit work on the 2 SPOOL 25 GPM PRINCE RD522CCAA5A4B1 OC VALVE ITEM NUMBER: 9-6702 that you sell. I am looking for an open center valve I can have a dentent to stay open on one spool.
A: Yes, this detent kit will work for any Prince RD5000 series valve.

I have a 3 spool prince valve and the first spool is a float valve can I take the float out and put a detent on it to keep the valve locked in without holding the lever and then also put the detent kit on 2nd spool to keep the valve locked in as well
A: The detent kit would work on the second spool, but not on the float spool. Float spools are longer for the fourth position and cannot be converted using the kit.

What does the three position manual detent kit do?
A: It allows the handle to lock in all the positions so you don't have to hold it. This is strictly a manual detent and not a pressure release detent.
