Will this work in place of an RC61SS? Ratio is the same at 1:1.46.
A: This appears to have the same bolt pattern as the RC-61 boxes. We also carry an RC-61 box; item 13-1532.

In the description it says the unit has "heavy duty ball bearings " on the drawing it looks like it has tapered roller bearings Also can the rotation be reversed by changing the Gear location?
A: From the manufacturer's literature-"Bearings:
Roller bearings standard in light
duty units. ISO tapered bearings
standard in larger units."
We have no information about reversing the output direction.

Why is there such a wide range on the max torque spec?
A: Because the input HP range is from 35-83, the max torque specs have that same range.

can gearbox be operated with output shaft horizonatal
A: This box only has one breather vent in the case, behind and above the input shaft at the back of the case. Running the box with the output horizontally would make it necessary for the end-user to plumb in an extension tube to allow for proper venting above the oil level in the box at the very least.

Does the blade hub pictured in picture 1 come with the gearbox?
