4 Bolt High Speed Wheel Hub
Brand new. Use with a 1" diameter spindle (item 1-1128, sold separately) to mount high speed wheels on small trailers. Includes cast iron hub, grease cap, tapered roller bearings, seal and lug nuts.

Are these hubs made from cast iron or steel?

A: This hub is cast iron.

My axle spindle is 1" dia. but only 2-3/8" long between inner bearing "rest' and nut threads. Is this hub 'short' enough to fit my spindle?

A: No this hub will not work with your spindle.

A: Yes, this hub will work with those wheels.

Hub width says it is 4 1/4". Is that the total distance including the grease cap? In other words, what is the width of just the portion that sits on the axle? My existing wheel is 2 7/8" wide and I'm wanting to replace with this hub, but am not sure if it will fit.

A: That is the dimension through the bore of the hub. The dust cap seats about half an inch in from that, which still ends up much longer than your needed 2 7/8".

Will stock golf cart wheels bolt on these hubs ?

A: If they have a 4 bolt mount on a 4" bolt circle, they should. If not, then they won't.
