New, Icon Health and Fitness model# F-309513 permanent magnet motor with brushes. Built for use in treadmills, ideal for use with speed controller. Would also make an excellent DC generator. Rated for 3 HP treadmill duty or 3 HP (2238 W) continuous duty. Internal, normally-closed bimetallic switch signals thermal overload.

Motor housing diameter measures 115mm (4.527"). Removable, heavy (7.6 lb.) steel flywheel mounted onto motor shaft by means of keyway and retention screw. Flywheel measures 172mm (6.772") dia. x 36mm thick. Flywheel has 31mm O.D. ten-groove pulley for serpentine belt. Requires external source of air-flow over motor for prolonged use.
