Would this be suitable for controlling a compressor head running off the crank pulley on a stationary diesel engine? I am trying to add a compressor head to a generator so that I don't need to add the electrical load of the compressor motor to the rest of the generator load. The engine on the generator is oversized and should be adequate for the compressor load. The compressor currently runs on a 3600 rpm 7.5hp motor
A: Without more information, we cannot say.

Assuming this clutch is installed underneath a vertical shaft engine, which side is right side up? The pulley side, or the clutch side.
